HOW TO REGISTER FOR EUC CYCLING 2021?
For Athletes
Are you a student and a talented cyclist? Maybe we’ll see you in Nijmegen in June 2021! In order to compete at the 2021 EUSA EUC Cycling, your National University Sports Association (NUSA) has to register you (this can be done in consultation with your National Cycling Federation (NCF)). Contact your country’s NUSA and/or NCF to let them know that you would like to compete. If you have trouble contacting your NUSA/NCF, send us an e-mail and we might be able to help you out.

For National Cycling Federations (NCF)
Each participating country is free to choose their own criteria which their riders have to meet in order to compete at the EUC. However, we would like to refer to the Rules and Regulations for EUSA events and the Techni- cal Regulations -in short on page 3 and 4-, which states the conditions that participants have to satisfy in order to be eligible for the 2021 EUSA European University Cycling Championship (which can be found below). Whereas the National Cycling Federation can be responsible for selecting athletes, your country’s National University Sports Association (NUSA) will have to handle their registration. Please contact your NUSA as soon as possible (see Timeline of Registration Deadlines) to let them know your country intends to participate. If you have trouble contacting your NUSA, send us an email as we might be able to help coordinate the process.

Timeline of registrations:
General Entry Deadline: March 15, 2021
NUSA’s have to register a contact, as well as an estimation of the number of competitors. This number is not final, as it might increase or decrease afterwards. This step merely shows us that your country intends to participate. It is however a necessary one to complete the registration process.
Quantitative Entry Deadline: April 15, 2021
Quantitative entry form opens after the deposit payment is confirmed and after EUSA confirms the team’s participation. For this step, NUSA’s have to submit the final number of competitors, officials and other staff members. After this deadline, the Organizing Committee has the right (not the obligation) to deny any additional delegation members. In accordance with EUSA Rules and Regulations, 50% of the total sum of the participation fee, without considering general entry deposit shall be paid until the quantitative entry deadline, and the balance of participation latest by the Individual entry deadline. The OC is responsible for dealing with participation fee payment.
Individual Entry Deadline: May 14, 2021
Individual entry form opens after the submission of the quantitative entry form. During the final step of the registration process, NUSA’s have to submit all personal details necessary of their delegation members. We will inform you on which specific details need to be submitted. This way, we can check if all athletes are eligible for the EUC and prepare accreditation cards for all delegation members.
